Happy Birthday t0 me :)

I was running today, my aim was to run finish the whole round of bedok reservoir without stopping.
The whole round would be about 4.8km, i did run most of it.
I ran from the starting to 2km stopped to drink water, then walked to 3km.
3km run all the way to the ending point, another 1.8 km.
I could have done it IF i din't stop and walk.
While running, i actually just plan to stop and walk, really too tiring alr.
However, i keep telling myself, i must and i have to finish this whole "race".
It is just like how i want to push myself to finish the race with God.
But i just realize something.
When i'm about to finish the race, i gave up, and walked.
It was afew cm more just to reach the ending point, and i gave up.
Why?
Because i had super bad stitches.
If we were to look at my spiritual walk, i'm just the same as what happened today.
I pushed myself, I convinced myself, I ALMOST did it, but i stopped.
Because why, pain.
= In my spiritual race, when i'm about to finish the race, i stopped and walked out because i found it too tiring, and because i allowed the devil to overtake me. And thats why i kept going in cycles. One minute on fire, another not.
And then i made up my mind.
No matter how far, how tiring, how painful every race will be, i will finish it up without giving up.
Even if i do not win prizes or whatever, at least i won victory :)
I finished the race, with God.

I was just pondering if i should get a tattoo .

Then i remembered, our body is the temple of Christ, so if we tattoo/pierce isn't it decorating it ? If we decorate, then it wouldn't even be a temple anymore .

I felt that, if i go for the tattoo without thinking, i will regret & seriously, that could be my forever permanent mark that will be stuck with me forever, and that mark will be ( my disobedience, rebellions, mutiny ) against God .

Which, obviously i do not want to regret for the rest of my life and when one day when God see's me, instead of being happy, he starts to weep and tells me how great my life would be if i had been obedient towards him, and etc .

I want to see Jesus smiling at me and being proud of me, reaching out to thousands and thousands of people, obeying him, listen to his one and only voice ;
